What is behind the door?
There is an idea of chasing that next level up is like arriving in VIP and seeing there is another door. You finally get through that door and see yet another door and so on… well what happens when you apply this to cars? Well with Ferrari there are many doors. Second hand, brand new, special series, icona series and then what? Well if you are lucky enough to achieve the highest heights there is a programme known as the FXX Programme.
The programme was started in 2005 and was first applied to the Ferrari Enzo which was renamed to the FXX. The idea behind this was to apply future technologies to non-homologated cars that are designed for racing. Because the car have not been homologated they can’t race and compete in official programmes. However, providing you are happy racing other owners you can arrive at track days and have your cars professionally prepared by Scuderia Ferrari.
